It’s been ten years since the first record and five since the most recent, but Plastikman is back, and he’s as isolated, paranoid, and hypnotic as ever. On October 20th the next installment of Richie Hawtin’s minimal, psychedelic-tinged, and best-known project will be released on Novamute. The new album is called “Closer”, and Hawtin himself says this is the most personal, vulnerable Plastikman record yet.
