Processing 1.0 _ALPHA_

Processing is a context for exploring the emerging conceptual space enabled by electronic media. It is an environment for learning the fundamentals of computer programming within the context of the electronic arts and it is an electronic sketchbook for developing ideas. The software is currently in a pre-release stage, but bug fixes are being made as we head toward a more complete "1.0" release. Processing will be free to download and available for Mac, PC, and Linux. Processing is an open project initiated by Ben Fry and Casey Reas. It is currently developed in the Aesthetics and Computation Group at the MIT Media Lab and at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.

Just been checking this out and am very impressed with the speed. Flash can be such a slow language when processing & displaying, it's been a real limiter...
