I'd never heard of this guy until coming across a small passage in Syvia Nasars A Beautiful Mind bio of John Nash (pg 271 in the paperback edition..)...It was a huge story back in 1948 when he walked into the American embassy in Paris, turned in his passport & became "the first citizen of the world"...The intelligentsia of the day including Einstein, Von Neuman & Sarte all lined up to support his action...
