I've always suspected that the credit-card was the ideal form for portable data..small enough to transport easily, whilst large enough to handle easily...anything smaller, I think, would just feel wrong to most people...(Minidiscs, the audio kind, I think suffer from this..).. Whether this will be able to stand up to everyday use remains to be seen..it does sound like the tech is really an isotype of Floppy Discs which were never 100% reliable...Not as sexy as solid-state but if it works, they hell, why not?...
